First 3D Printed Bull

This three dimensional drawing of a bull was the first of Fred’s sculptures to be created using a revolutionary technique of 3D printing and copper forming. Too delicate for casting in bronze, the 3D print was instead coated in resin and submerged in a copper sulphate solution in a process known as copper forming, very similar to copper plating but more intensive. The result is a light and incredibly strong copper sculpture that perfectly matches the original drawing made in Virtual reality.
